If you believe you might fail, you have a much greater chance of doing so. If you believe you will succeed, and do everything you can to get there, you have a lot better chance of achieving victory. The high performers and high achievers in our society are positive thinking people, and they know they have what it takes to get the job done. They seek challenge, and they are not afraid of the unknown. They know themselves, and what they're up against, and in 100 battles they will prevail. Indeed, I'd like to discuss this with you for a few moments if you have the time.
You see, realistic optimism is a powerful tool, one which you should use in your own life to accomplish your objectives and goals. Runaway optimism can be dangerous, but as long as you keep things in perspective, watch the details, and pay attention as things unfold you should be okay. Have you ever heard that quote; "if you believe you can't, you are right." There is another quote which you should know; "you must believe to achieve." Essentially they are saying the same thing, there is a lot of wisdom in those words, and you should take note.
You should not be afraid to fail, but you should always focus on success. If things aren't going your way, realize how much you are learning in the process, and how much experience you are getting along the way. That's very valuable, good experience like that doesn't come for free. A true achiever, that is to say someone who is a winner in life, always believes they will succeed, they aren't the ones preparing for doom-and-gloom, Armageddon, Apocalypse, or the end of days. They may very well be prepared, because they are tough in the mind, but they are not afraid of what is to come.
What I'd like to talk to you about now is; deliberately ditching your doubt. That is to say any time that doubt comes into your mind, write it down, think about it, and write 10 reasons why you shouldn't doubt. Write all the positive things going for you, and your strategy for winning, or seeing through the hardship. Adversity builds character, and each time you approach failure, or any time you haven't succeeded in the past, is one more reason why you will probably succeed this time.
If you want to win in life, regardless of the human endeavor you are involved in, you must deliberately ditch your doubt. That's the best way to play it. Indeed I hope you will please consider all this and think on it.
