The Future of the World Depends on Failure of the EU - Human Freedom and Liberty Needs It to Fail

Yes, I'll admit that title is a little hard-hitting and in your face, but what better way to get the point across. Now then, you are going to want my explanation for such a harsh reality type statement like that, and I believe you are justified in your inquiry, so, let's get right into the meat of this debate, and then you can contemplate on this argument, whether you agree or disagree is immaterial, my objective is purely to get you to think about it all.

Now then, if you will recall Greece is world of financial hurt, mostly due to their over expenditures on socialist type government give-aways, and rather than going to austerity measures to re-align themselves with the rest of Europe, they elected a more left-leaning socialist leader. What did France do? Well, they are not without their own challenges although far better off than the PIIGS - Portugal, Italy, Spain, Greece, and Ireland. But what did France do, well, they too voted in a more left leaning President recently.

All these left-leaning socialist methods are what has caused all these problems, and rather than fixing them, they decide to add more fuel to that fire and dig a bigger hole, rather than digging their way out of the one they'd created. If the ECB becomes an entity with the same power as the Federal Reserve and attempts to borrow its way out of things without changing this socialist mindset, it only will blow the balloon up bigger for one less hoorah before the big pop and implosion in the years ahead.

Worse, in the meantime it gives other nations a model to follow, and they too will reach the same potential eventuality and drive off a similar future cliff. And, let's not forget our own nation's problems, isn't our current leadership also following socialist theory and borrowing so many bad economic habits from Europe already? If the governments of the world become the parents and nannies of their citizenry, then what happens when the parents can no longer provide.

Perhaps you will recall when you were young and your parents took care of you? You didn't have that much freedom, and you always wanted more, but those were the rules right? Well, if the government is your new parents and you live as a socialist subject then you will not have any freedom or liberty, and then may I ask what you intend on doing when your parents lose their home, and leave you all alone? Freedom and Liberty come with responsibility my friends.

Of course, I am utterly amazed that the US voters would elect a regime that promised them such a socialist dream, something that goes against everything this great nation stands for. It's time to understand that socialism does not work, and maybe it is time for the European Union's experiment to fail before other nations follow it into the same abyss. Mexico is about to elect a left-leaning socialist, and many nations in South America already have. History shows this to be unwise, and it will surely cause those economies an early demise.

We as Americans know better, or at least most of us used too, today, it appears that the majority may not know better - nevertheless, maybe it's time that everyone see the light. It might be much better off for the future of mankind, for freedom and liberty worldwide, if the EU simply fall apart and those nations which are less socialistic are allowed to succeed on their own accord and those which aren't are allowed to pay for their foolhardy mistakes, then we might see a rebirth of freedom and liberty, yes, with responsibility, as that is the nature of things on this planet, it's always been that way, no matter what a politician might say.

Capitalism Equals Freedom

As I have continued to follow (and loathe) the Occupy Wall Street movement, I ran across an image of a man proudly hoisting a sign with a loud (but erroneous) message that read "Capitalism = Corruption". My first reaction was a physical cringe followed by a head-shaking/lip-pursing pity combo. Then I decided that it was time to begin dispelling this anti-capitalism hogwash and so was born this brief analysis.

Let's start by defining capitalism to determine whether or not it is indeed corrupt. Capitalism is an economic system where I may invest my resources (i.e., "capital") into a venture and either earn a return or incur a loss depending on whether the venture sells its outputs for a profit or a loss. That's it. That, in a nutshell, is "capitalism". Well, were you able to spot the corruption? Of course not! Capitalism and the free market in which it operates prevent corruption by virtue of the interests of the participants therein. Capitalism is anything but corruption!

In a capitalist system it is my choice whether or not to take a risk. I am free to invest or not to invest, in a capitalist system. I am free to win or to lose, in a capitalist system. I am free to buy or not to buy, in a capitalist system. I am free to make my own decisions, in a capitalist system. Notice the two recurring words in each of the previous statements that represent the theme of this paragraph: "free" and "capitalist [system]". Capitalism is a system rooted in freedom, and freedom only becomes "corrupt" when its definition is hijacked by a person or a group of persons whose alternative system (and likewise their power/control) becomes threatened by free-thinking, rational people.

I am really sick and tired of "capitalism" being considered a bad word. At what point did it become "wrong" or "uncool" to subscribe to capitalism? Since when is it frowned-upon to create a product or perform a service with the goal of turning a profit? No, seriously, at what point in America's history did the word "capitalism" begin carrying negative connotations? Who was in charge of the "smear-capitalism" marketing campaign because I want to hire him or her to help market my first book! It was probably the same person or organization who have somehow pegged the Republican party as "racist", when looking back at history it was actually by and large the Democrat party that was "racist" (e.g., the late Robert Byrd, Democrat senator and former President pro tempore (ironically even during Obama's term!) from West Virginia was a former ranking member of the Ku Klux Klan). I just don't get it... Although as I sit and ponder, I begin to wonder if our modern-day "journalists" should be held partly responsible for this "anti-capitalist" phenomenon. After all, never once have I noticed my local news reporters actually describe capitalism beyond flashing clips of misguided protesters slandering and libeling the system.

Before closing, it's important to revisit the formal definitions of the terms used in this sign that was the subject of this article as to not let the primary media outlets and our liberal friends/family/colleagues continue diluting the true meanings:

Capitalism (noun) an economic system characterized by private or corporate ownership of capital goods, by investments that are determined by private decision, and by prices, production, and the distribution of goods that are determined mainly by competition in a free market.

Corruption (noun) a: impairment of integrity, virtue, or moral principle: depravity b: decay, decomposition c: inducement to wrong by improper or unlawful means (as bribery) d: a departure from the original or from what is pure or correct.

You know, based on Merriam-Webster's definitions above, the following would be more accurate statements to consider using on your next sign for your next rally: "Occupy Wall Street Movement = Corruption", or "Capitalism = Freedom".

What About Risk

Is it a little scary? It sure is, so is learning to drive, jumping on the cross town bus, starting a relationship or having children. Risk for some is fear, and for others a terrific adventure. Is there a perfect time to change? When should you take the risk? When is it time to get ahead and make a difference?

Now is the perfect time, the economy is in question. Now is when you take the risk, waiting prolongs the potential income earnings. You can make the deference today right now in your life. I do not want you to quit your job, but by putting a little energy into an earning based opportunity you will start to gain a debt free life!

Curiosity Killed a Cat, It Also Made People Rich

Curiosity is also a risk; being wealthy is not always about the money. Being able to be creative and create a better lifestyle, add happiness and freedom to do what you want to do.This is a wealthy individual.

How you think determines who you are

I believe the mind is very powerful. I believe great people are just ordinary people with an extraordinary amount of determination. Success is achieved and maintained by those who keep trying. You may not be what you want to be, hope to be, or dream of becoming at this moment. The key to achieving your dreams is to teach yourself that quitting is never an option. Everyone should have Big Dreams, Hopes and Desires. They should also have the expectation that they will come true.

The person with that little extra faith in God, others, and himself or herself will certainly have an advantage to tackle life's challenges to make their dreams come true.

To: Have a burning desire for success, going the extra mile along with a creative vision, building multiple streams of income to earn and save money to live well and help others.

To: Keep my ego in check, use its energy for personal achievement with a success consciousness, while being enthusiastic, using accurate thinking, and the capacity to understand people.

To: Always have a positive mental attitude, sound physical health, stay harmonious in human relationships, freedom from all fears. I have hopes of achievement, have an open mind on all subjects, and am self-disciplined in personal and business efforts.

To naturally think positive about the future, you will need to reframe your entire emotional state so that your brain naturally initiates the positive thought process all on its own. Your thoughts always show up into your life, especially when there is deep emotion behind them. Start visualizing your life as financially abundant and in perfect harmony with the past. When We Change

"When we change, we change our world." The first time I heard this phrase I just went, "Yeah that sounds cool and kind of guru-interesting, but what the heck does it really mean?" It meant nothing at all until I really heard it and finally put this "change" stuff into action. Then it became the power that drives my life.

For many, many of my more-than-fifty years I struggled and moaned and groaned and complained about life. It was not going the way I wanted. People were not doing what I wanted. Events did not erupt in the colors I had anticipated. Life was hard and boring and I ran like hell from it. I hid in television and shopping, blaming the other guy and doing the same darned thing every day, thinking somehow tomorrow was going to be different. Peggy Lee had nothing on me with her warbling of "Is that all there is?"

My life stayed in status-quo stagnation until I decided that it was time that I do something about it. It was time for me to change. I'd been trying to change you; to change the weather; to change my mother-in-law; to change my parents; to change my children; to change my boss; to change the world. I had failed miserably, and I was miserable and really, really worn out.

I finally understood that this change stuff must come from me. I needed to change the way I was going about this entire living thing. Was I going to continue to be a "victim," laying the blame for my inactivity on someone else? No! I chose to be proactive--to move into my life with thought and action. I finally really saw that I was driving this thing, not my father or mother, sister or brother, husband or lover. Me!

I sought to change my expectations. I was wandering around with rigid outcomes plastered on every move I made. "If I do this, then that will happen." And if the outcome didn't match my notions, I was pissed off and angry and full of self-pity. So now, I no longer have expectations. I hope things will work out as I think they will. And if they don't, most of the time what does happen is better than I planned or at least a hell of a lot more interesting.

The biggest change I now embrace? "It is what it is." What freedom and peace there is in that simple statement. I truly have no control over anything or anyone but me. So instead of complaining and bemoaning fate, I choose to move into fate with a big smile and an open heart.

By changing my thinking and accepting things simply as they are, my world has changed. That once enigmatic statement about "change" is now an action that powers my days and creates a sense of real peace. So, how about you? Are you ready to change your world?

How to Create a Greater Amount of Freedom in Your World

Waking Up To The Bigger Picture [The World Around You]

Have you ever noticed how much struggle and suffering occurs in your own life when you attempt to change the people and circumstances in your life as they are happening in a moment of now?
Yet, for a few moments maybe you can just remember that great freedom comes from learning how to accept people and circumstances just as they are. In essence, through acceptance, you begin to release your need to control or change people or life situations that are not yours to control.

You don't have to even think about what I'm saying, because truth be told, the state of Peace comes from allowing things to happen just as they are happening. And it is through this acceptance that you become free to embrace every situation and every person that you encounter in the spirit of Love, Joy and Peace.

And I really don't know just what you're thinking now but the most important person for you to accept is you. Take a few slow, deep, relaxing breaths and as you continue to do so visualize yourself as a child of God who is now following a divinely inspired path. In this moment, feel free to let go of self-criticisms as you allow yourself to trust in that Divine wisdom that is within you.

Again, feeling a renewed sense of freedom and peace, you can begin to accept the people and circumstances in your life with the power of unconditional love and as you do so you might even begin to give thanks for all of the blessings that they bring.

Wipe away all thoughts of wonder and understand, just understand that when it comes to experiencing the freedom of Love, Joy and Peace through the spirit that is within you, it can be experienced when you start to meditate on a daily basis.

More than that, when you meditate on a daily basis you might begin to notice how it is actually helping you to create and make life-supporting decisions that ultimately lead you to all of the Love, Joy and Peace that you can imagine.

I noticed that the practice of Yoga Nidra which is a guided meditation technique helped bring back that spark of enthusiasm that seemed to be missing from my life and more than that it continues to take me to even deeper states of Love that I didn't even know where possible.

In the end, now that you have become aware of the fact that there is a tremendous amount of greater freedom waiting for you when you can begin to accept people and circumstances just as they are you will find that meditating on a daily basis is one of the most effective ways for you to create the kind of transformations in your own life that lead to the freedom of mind.
