The 4 Step Process of Choosing the Best Android App Developers for Your Project

Everybody wants to be able to choose the best android app developers for their project, but the most professional developers are very hard to come by. This is because the plethora of available choices makes it difficult to search for the developer who has in-depth expertise and experience on the Android platform. Some people, in spite of putting a lot of time and energy in their search proceedings, still end up choosing the wrong developer for their projects.

One of the many reasons for this is the fact that they haven't gone about choosing a developer or a development company in a methodical manner. Here is a step wise approach towards choosing an expert in android app development that usually proves to be successful.

Step 1: Understand the Market

If you are a first timer looking for an expert developer to handle your project, you need to get a thorough understanding of the market and how it functions. This will help you get an idea of the choices available and also the kind of services offered by the developers. More importantly, it will also help you get an in-depth look into the claims and counter claims by the various development companies offering their services in this regard.

Step 2: Shortlisting on Basis of Portfolio

After going through the portfolio of the various companies that you come across in your search, you will need to first shortlist them on the basis of portfolio. Here, it is important to choose the kind of company that has worked on projects that had similar requirements to yours - the ones that claim to have done so and which is evident from their portfolio. You can also use other parameters to shortlist the companies.

Step 3: Establishing Contact

Once you have shortlisted the respective companies, based on their portfolio and various other parameters, you will need to contact them for a personal interaction. You need to talk with their development team and get an idea of their levels of expertise and their ability to handle your projects. After your interaction, you can further trim down your shortlist, based on your levels of satisfaction with respect to the one-on-one you had with the company.

Step 4: Vetting Client References

The final shortlist is made up of android app developers or companies that you have had a constructive interaction with, and those that you believe have worked on successful client projects. You next and final step will be to get client references from these companies, and talk to their past clients. This helps you get a clear idea about the expertise and experience of the developers and whether they are all that they claim to be.

Once you are through this stage, you can choose the company or developers that you would like to do business with. By following the 4 step selection process, it is very difficult to go wrong.

Tips for Choosing the Fastest Wireless N Router

If you're a serious gamer, you already know how important it is to choose the best equipment. When selecting a router, you want to stick with companies like Lanskys, Netgear, or D-Link which have built reputations for offering the most robust units you can buy. Maybe you think you can't afford one of these devices made by a top company, but have you ever considered buying your router secondhand? Plenty of people who are updating to newer models sell their old ones for nominal prices, and most of the ones offered for sale are still in like-new condition. There's no reason for you to have to accept some second-rate machine instead of the best.

Knowing what you're looking for in a router will help you make informed choices. A router basically connects two local area networks enabling you to access games on that network and allowing you to play against their best players. Decide on what requirements you want for your router. What kind of speed do you need? How many USB ports will you require to hook up your extras? What distance capabilities do you want? Once you've decided what you are looking for, you'll be able to check online to see which brands and models meet your qualifications. Then, if you don't like the price you're seeing, you can start looking for the same model used.

You will find that there are two basic types of wireless routers - a wireless G and a wireless N. The N models are considerably more expensive than the G models, because the N denotes extended signal range and strength. If you need these extensions, then you'll want to buy a router model denoted N. If you don't need them, you'll be able to save money buy purchasing a wireless G. Models that are considered the best in the N range include:

* Linkskys Wireless Gigabit N Router with Storage Link (WRT600N): This router is great for heavy networking usage as it has two antennas instead of one. This unit contains high-quality audio and video transfers, supports VoIP, and extends bandwidth by having double radio bands. Ports are also included which will allow you to connect it to hard disks or external flash drives.

* D-Link Wireless N router (DIR-615): You will find that D-Link offers reasonably-priced routers that have received many awards for excellence. The model referenced here costs about $40, has a 1-year warranty, up to 300 Mbps, and a signal strength up to an area of 1200 feet.

* Netgear Rangemax WNDR3700 Dual Band Wireless-N Gigabit Router: This router is touted as having superior speed and performance with a speed of 600 Mbps. It includes USB ports for external storage and is an excellent choice for use with the Xbox 360 or for small business use. It costs around $150.

Choosing the Best Wireless Router for Your Bucks

Wireless routers are a great invention. They give you all of the power and capabilities of a wired router without a lot of the hassle. Chances are that if you're a serious gamer, you either have one already or are in the market to buy one. If you're ready to replace the one you have or buy your very first wireless router, what exactly should you be looking for?

1. Speed - a higher speed means that the router is better for the network. Router speeds are measured in megabits per second.

2. Number of antennas - the best connections are made with multiple antennas. A higher number of antennas translates into more transreceivers.

3. Coverage Range - the higher the range, the better it is for your network. This is one of the most important features for you to consider in your router.

4. Networking standard - the two most popular choices are the Wi-Fi networking standards 802.11N and 802.11G. For higher speed select the newer 802.11N.

5. Wired access points - wired access points enhance the use of a wireless router. In this case, more is better.

6. Dual band/single band - although single band may be adequate for your needs, a dual band allows more speed and two frequenices of transmission.

7. Firewall and network security - security features including a firewall and a secure data encryption standard is important. The best security standard to buy is a WPA2.

Preferred brands of routers that carry these features include Linskys, Belkin, D-link, and Netgear. Ideally you will choose one with the easiest setup, a minimum of maintenance problems, and long-life performance. Some models you might consider include:

* Linskys WRT610N - this is a fast, reliable router. Some of its features include 4 gigabit ethernet ports, external hard drive sharing, WPA2 security, 802.11a/b/g/n compatibility, 6 internal antennas, and excellent range. This is one of the best and most maintenance-free routers you can buy. It costs around $165.

* Apple AirPort Extreme - this model is one of the best available. It has Windows/Mac compatibility, a simultaneous dual band with both a 2.4 GHz and 5 GHZ frequency range, and a variety of excellent security features. It is a great choice for Mac centric users and comes with a one year guarantee, all for about $175.

* Linskys WRT400N - if you're looking for a wireless router that is a bit more economical, the WRT400N is a great deal at $115. It features great speed and range as well as simultaneous dual band connectivity.

Happiness Is A Choice - Are You Choosing It?

It's true, lifestyle, people, things, success, and money can enhance your happiness, but that's only half the equation. The other half of the equation depends solely on you.

I am sure you have heard of people, or perhaps you are one of those people, who have everything money can buy and still aren't happy. Then there are those that are joyous whether they have or don't have things or partners in their life. Why is that?

People make a choice to be happy, and it's not just by saying it, it's truly believing it's possible.

They have found the joy that comes from within no matter what might or might not be happening in their lives.

They are the believers. They create harmony in their life and trust that whatever they do or wherever they go joy can be a part of it.

How you view life and the things that happen can greatly impact you.

Happiness is a choice and it's an option that sometimes may seem impossible depending on what is occurring.

You might think, "Sure, when things are going well I'm pretty happy, but when the tables turn, my happiness turns into the opposite right along with it".

How can you be happy when you are depressed, or are going through a divorce, or have lost a loved one, or you can't pay the bills, or don't know what you are going to do?

No matter how tough things might be, you can look to a future that is bright and filled with promise. You can.

Time and time again you will hear or read stories of individuals who have overcome the most earth shattering experiences, yet, their faith and hope have helped them to move through and soar above their setbacks. They choose to be hopeful and happy.

Does that mean that they never felt sad, depressed, angry, defeated, stressed, anxious, doubtful, etc.? No, but what made the difference for them was they recognized what they were feeling and made a conscious choice to be as happy as they could be.

It may be a day, week, month, and for some, even years where you feel unhappy and struggle to pull yourself up out of the depths of despair but you can do it if there is a willingness to push through that darkness into the light.

Problems are only setbacks. They are not the end or be all, there is a solution and you are it!

Think of it this way, when you first learned math you made mistakes which is why the teacher had you use a pencil (brilliant invention) so you could erase the mistakes and start over.

The challenges you face in life are like a mathematical equation. You may make a few mistakes along the way, but you can learn from you mistakes and start over.

Remember how you felt when you "got it"? You were probably happy and proud, perhaps you even felt on top of the world until the next time you felt stumped or defeated again.

You can't erase what has or is occurring in your life, and sometimes you won't have the answers, but you can choose to look at it differently and you can be happy again.

So, where does your happiness go during trying times?

Joy doesn't just disappear, although it may seem like it does, it is only being blanketed over by other emotions.

You have to find the thread of happiness that still remains woven in the tapestry of your sorrows. It is there holding you together, waiting to be sewn into your life again.

Your ego may be determined to keep you believing that happiness is not a choice, that it comes from what is or isn't happening for you, but when you choose it to be, whether that is today, tomorrow, or down the road, you can return to bliss again.

Next time you find yourself feeling down and out, or faced with circumstances that seem to leave you doubtful or uneasy, or perhaps even "wigging out", remind yourself that happiness hasn't left you, it's within you right here, right now.

If you opt to forgo joy for awhile because of what's occurring, that's perfectly fine, but remember it is only part of the equation. You are the other part.

While your heart may seem heavy, it also remains joyous and light. Be a believer in happiness and make a conscious choice as often as possible to heed it.

"Happiness is when what you think, what you say, and what you do are in harmony". Mahatma Gandhi

Choosing the Right Accounts Training Courses

Accounts training courses provide accountants, bookkeepers, and other key financial personnel with the knowledge and skills they need to perform their functions effectively. It is said that money speaks in a language that all nations understand, and this may well be true in this day and age where no transaction seems to get completed without money involved. When you choose accounts courses for you or your staff, be sure to choose a program that covers a wide range of issues and caters to both financial professionals and would-be financial managers alike. You may use a combination of in-house and online training courses to get the best experience, learning, and results.

Basic Bookkeeping and Accounts Training Courses

These courses are usually held for just one day and are aimed at providing hands-on introduction to new employees on key areas, including: sales, cash book, bank reconciliation, purchase and general ledgers, and trial balances. These are very practical accounts training courses that clearly explain the underlying logic and principles involved in financial transactions and recording. Learning is usually accomplished through a combination of lectures and exercises that allow participants to put their learning into practice. And because these are the very basic courses, there is actually no previous knowledge or experience required from the participants. What's most important is their willingness to learn.

Accounts Training Courses for Non-Financial Managers

These courses are ideal for key personnel who are not yet in the position of a financial manager, but still require some basic knowledge and understanding about budgets, balance sheets, and general finance. Owners and managers of small to medium enterprises are also advised to take these courses, as these can help them run their business ventures much more smoothly. The primary aim of such courses is to provide participants with a good understanding of the key components of financial statements. At the end of a course, the participants are also expected to better appreciate financial entries that typically have an impact on cash flow statements, balance sheets, and profit and loss accounts.

Accounts Training Courses on the Preparation of Management Accounts

These accounts training courses are ideal for any staff member involved in the preparation of management accounts as well as for their supervisors and managers. They can also be very useful for staff members of the accounts department of any business, as these personnel typically require adequate knowledge and understanding of management accounts. Participants to these courses are expected to gain a deep understanding of the key components of management accounts and be better able to prepare their own set of management accounts.

When you choose in-house training courses, it is best to find those that offer one-to-one coaching aside from the usual lecture-type training. This helps ensure that the specific learning requirements of key personnel are satisfactorily met. It is also a good idea to review the course content in advance to make sure it is relevant and that you won't be wasting company time and money on the course. Where online courses are concerned, be sure to choose those that allow you and your employees to learn at your own pace and time. It's also wise to choose online accounts training courses that use easy-to-install software and provide a secure environment without necessarily risking your systems.

Choosing a career is one of the major decisions that a college student should make before they hit graduation. Sometimes the career of an individual is the turning point of his or her career. That is why some of the graduates become unemployed or they cannot allow themselves to stick to one job because they have chosen something that is not for them. This is the same reason, why career counselling is best for students who are about to graduate and face the real world. Get an Advice from a Career Counsellor

Choosing the career option is not an easy task that is why it is better that you seek the attention of a well-known career counsellor. They may not be that popular but they do exist. However, like what researchers said career counsellors cannot choose a career for you. You really have to make the choice all but yourself but they can land you different options. They may want you to enroll into life skills program or they can allow you to have a career interest survey so that they can decide better options for you.

Design your Own Career Plan

The Most Important Rule in Choosing an Anger Management Specialist

How do you pick an anger management specialist/anger resolution therapist? They could present you with credentials and letters from universities, certificates, a copy of my resume, or something like that. However, even if they have all that, what makes you listen to them, heed their words and follow their training program? Well, why does anyone really ever listen to another person?

I believe the most important rule is found in the old saying, "No one cares how much you know unless/until they know how much you care." I've spent over three decades living that philosophy. It inspires me to study helping professions and guides me as an educator and social worker. Moreover, it helps me connect with people in serious pain who desperately need a friend who understands not only how they feel but also how they can get past what hurts. Drug addicts, abused children, confused, lonely, and angry people. I've been able to connect with tons of them.

The funny thing is, as much as the people I've helped could have sworn I walked in their shoes, most of the time, I just really cared enough to pay attention to them and help in any way that I knew how. I've never been a drug addict; never had cancer; never been divorced; never been a veteran yet, many of my clients who have lived these lives could have sworn I was because we connected. How is that possible? Was it trained "empathic response," or "reflective listening"? Truthfully, the answer would be "not really." It was just being there and realizing, "Holy smokes, that could 'a' been me. If I had those choices, in those circumstances, that could easily have been me. What would I want someone to do for me?" Sometimes, I just sit in awe of the person I'm listening to and think, "What a beautiful and strong person to still be alive and to be trusted by."

One thing I do know from all these incredible people who have taught me about life is this: if I have learned something, I should be ready to share it. Anger is something that I struggled with for years, even after achieving degrees and some professional success. Finally, I started to get a grip on it. Consequently, a voice in my heart said that other people need someone who "gets it" to be on their side helping them cross over.

I believe this is an essential value to providing successful help in any medical or educational profession. Some disagree because they feel such perspective damages objectivity. All I can say to that is that if a surgeon does not care about his or her patients to maintain objectivity, then what prevents that surgeon from treating anyone merely as a cadaver in a class? Clients, patients, and students deserve better than that because at any moment anyone of us can and might become a client, patient, or student to another helper. Even if the condition might be minor or common, if it is major to us, life altering to us, then that experience warrants a personable and compassionate response to those seeking help.

Yes, there are those people who habitually seek attention through various services and providers of those services. Even they deserve some compassion. After all, that's what often motivates their attention seeking behavior. Any one who has helped rehabilitate orthopedic patients knows that a person who develops a way of walking to compensate for a bad appendage must retrain their behavior even after the structure problem has been corrected. Therefore, it makes sense that although the conditions that prompted the behavior might be gone; the person still needs to learn a new way to behave that is more functional, useful, and productive.

That's why I work to help people resolve their anger, not just their anger issues. People who are angry may have a really good reason for it. When professionals tell them they don't have a reason for their feelings, they violate the client's sanctity as a person. Additionally, to leave people isolated and powerless to change in a cage of rage is flat-out cruel.

If someone offers you anger management, he or she might be helping you learn some tricks to help you act better. But if you want something more, you want you want anger resolution which aims to help you fix what you feel angry about and live not as a person struggling with anger but to become a person who is no longer in need of that anger. A good Anger Resolution Therapist (A.R.T.) doesn't fix your problems for you or make the world float into a fuzzy fog of pharmaceutical bliss. A good ART teaches and trains you through methods that help you recreate your influence in your environment. Moreover, after you start getting what you really want in the world, there's less that makes you angry; and, with less to be angry about, you experience a relaxed state of living and being that allows you to direct new energy toward the goals that inspire you and others, too.

As an anger resolution therapist and life coach, I believe that people may not consciously know how to or where to make the right changes in behavior that hurts us and hurts others. Therefore, helpers are essential as role models, guides, coaches, teammates, confidants, and as those who encourage.

A helper who has overcome his or her own adversity yet maintains compassion for those still struggling is far more valuable than one who merely masters sterile methods or tricks. Scientific methods and skills are essential to helping people gain ground in overcoming self-limiting behaviors, both physical and cognitive; but being a truly compassionate helper who can objectively observe and discern, blending the arts and sciences of helping is most effective and should be the goal of every helper. This is what all helpers should aspire to bring to their clients, students, or patients. Moreover, we should always be hungry to help more.
