Global Warming Theory specifically states that; the emissions of CO2 by humans is causing severe and irreversible climate change, a.k.a. a tipping point. These same alarmists tell us that the oceans will rise and there will be more disease, more droughts, more famine, and extreme weather in the process. Some say that our species is doomed, and many other species will not survive. As far as I'm concerned that's a bunch of poppycock, but let's go ahead and talk about this for a moment shall we?
Not long ago, there was a very interesting editorial in the Wall Street Journal on December 2, 2011. The gentleman who wrote the article, and I don't recall his name, made mention of the hypocrisy of the scientific community claiming that Global Warming is a fact, and already agreed upon by climatologists around the world. Indeed, we know that that isn't true, and as a coordinator for a think tank which happens to operate online, I can tell you of many scientists who are rather uncertain about the whole concept of mankind's CO2 output causing the climate to change, and increases in temperature.
There is one Berkeley physicist, and famous author of the book; "Physics for Future Presidents," who had looked at all the previous data and within the margin of error believes that the surface temperature of the landmass has increased 1.6 degrees F in the last 60 years. Of course, this is a lot less than the global warming alarmists had led us to believe with their hockey stick graph. We also know there was the controversy known as; "Climate Gate" - which noted several scientist talking back and forth agreeing to disagree on the subject, and even considering how to manipulate the data and figures to serve their scientific assessment and political agenda.
That is a scary thought indeed, sometimes when we talk about Global Warming, and I am talking with someone from academia who guarantees me that it is real, I just want to say to them; "The National Inquirer Announces Global Warming is Real, so it must be." Now you might think that's funny, but that's about the level of credibility I give to the scientific community for ramming this political agenda down the throats of the global community.
What I find fascinating is every time there is a storm, tornado, hurricane, Typhoon, drought, or anything of the sort such as a weather anomaly in California, high winds for instance - those who believe in this theory come out of the woodwork to remind us that they are right. In fact, if the weather is too hot, or too cold, they claim it is from this phenomena, and therefore, it proves their theory correct. That's utterly ridiculous, and I think everyone either knows it, or should have known it. Please consider all this and think on it.
